Solutions Plumbing Specialist is a growing San Diego–based premier plumbing company specializing in ADUs, custom homes, multi-family projects and light commercial work. As we continue to scale, we are hiring a Working Superintendent to lead field operations, manage crews, and serve as a key partner to ownership in executing high-quality projects and supporting continued growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads from the field when needed and sets the standard through action—not just direction. MINIMUM OF 15+ YEARS industry experience with former employment references available. Heavy residential and commercial plumbing experience required.
Role Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for owning day-to-day field operations while also stepping into a working foreman role as needed. This position balances leadership, project oversight, and hands-on involvement to protect quality, schedules, and margins. The right candidate understands when field involvement adds value—supporting crews on complex scopes, setting job site standards, and keeping projects moving efficiently. Thorough knowledge of the UPC CODE required.
What You’ll Own
Lead and manage field crews across active ADU, custom home, commercial and multi-unit projects ensuring deadlines and project budgets are met
Oversee scheduling and sequencing across multiple jobs
Maintain job site standards for cleanliness, punctuality, safety, and quality
Provide onsite supervision and accountability across projects
Work alongside crews when needed to assist with installs, solve problems, or maintain timelines
Step in on high-impact or complex jobs to ensure consistency and quality
Own quality control and inspections
Manage change orders and prevent scope creep
Communicate directly with builders and developers
Hire, train, and hold field staff accountable
Resolve issues before they escalate to ownership
Growth through strong builder and developer relationships

Base salary: $100,000.00 + Quarterly Incentive Compensation
