Job Description:
We are a full-service staffing agency seeking a dependable Class C Driver for our client. This position involves daily duties including pulling products, loading trucks, and making deliveries to local restaurants. You will be operating a 24' box truck and a 20'-22' bobtail truck (no lift gates), using a ramp to load and unload products with a dolly. The trucks are refrigerated, and deliveries will be made within the local region, ranging from the border to LA. You will also be required to interact with customers during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a 24' box truck and 20'-22' bobtail truck to make local deliveries.
Load and unload products using a ramp, dolly, and other necessary equipment.
Deliver to local restaurants, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products.
Interact professionally with customers during delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck.
Adhere to all safety and driving regulations.
Requirements:
Valid Class C driver’s license.
Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably and push/move up to 75 lbs.
Must be flexible with schedule and able to work overtime as needed.
Willingness to be subject to a background check and driving record review.
Experience using pallet jacks and hand trucks is a plus.
Comfortable driving refrigerated trucks.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with start times between 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM.
Flexible work hours, typically finished by 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, but must be willing to stay longer if needed.
