This is a highly collaborative position that will be analyzing program data; facilitating staff in making data meaningful; creating charts and visuals; developing reports and updating organizational dashboards; and executing other project-related tasks as needed.This position requires discipline and keen attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Responsibilities:
Coordinate organization-wide evaluation projects through their evaluation cycles including: engaging directly with clients, staff, and other stakeholders, convening and facilitating focus groups and advisory group meetings, creating and administering qualitative and quantitative data collection instruments, performing data analysis and presenting analysis to relevant stakeholders.
Support housing programs through monthly meetings to ensure leadership and staff have the relevant reports and dashboards to implement and evaluate programs and that the database is meeting their program needs.
Analyze and present quantitative and qualitative analysis of data gathered from Compass programs including client satisfaction surveys
Create compelling visuals to share with staff and aid in understanding of the data.
Conduct focus groups and interviews with families who are accessing Compass Services.
Facilitate program staff to use data to make decisions that will increase program impact for Compass families.
Partner with the Development team to share out evaluation findings with external partners.
Work in partnership with frontline staff and the leadership team to support a data-driven culture.
Education, Experience, and Requirements:
1-4 years of diverse methods of analysis and evaluation experience in a professional or academic setting
Ability to frame appropriate analyses and draw conclusions from data
Experience developing engaging visual products and reports of findings, including infographics, slide docs, graphics, dashboards, etc.
Experience facilitating and presenting information to non-technical audiences in a manner that supports diverse learning and communication styles and encourages active participation.
Ability to format documents and presentations in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with efficiency and attention to detail
Ability to communicate well across various levels in an organization and work collaboratively with people with a varying range of technical competencies
Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, multi-program environment
Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
Passion for the mission of Compass Family Services including an appreciation of the history, strengths, and experiences of multiple communities, particularly those which experience systemic oppression

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience.
Paid time off: 4 weeks of vacation your first year, 5 in your second. Also paid holidays, sick time, family leave.
Insurance: health, dental and vision insurance are fully covered by Compass for employees and dependent children. We also provide long term disability and life insurance.
Retirement: after one year of work, Compass contributes an amount equal to 5% of your salary into a retirement account; this vests during years 2-6.
Membership in OPEIU/Local 29 union.

Office location: 37 Grove St., San Francisco, less than a block from Civic Center BART/MUNI station.
This is a hybrid role. During training, the Impact Analyst will come into the office every day. Afterwards, they can work a mix of in-office and remote days each week. Fully remote is not possible.
