Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the construction industry, based in Santa Ana, California. This key role will involve overseeing our accounting team, streamlining our financial processes, and producing comprehensive financial-status reports to aid in our operational efficiency and continued growth. Responsibilities: Oversee the establishment of financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a regular basis Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development and support the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity Develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, CRM, Crystal Reports, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Auditing for efficient operation of day-to-day duties. Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in 3M Experience with Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in CRM Experience with Crystal Reports Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Auditing Familiarity with Budget Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
