OverviewThis position is contingent upon contract awardSOSi is actively seeking a Lead Clinician to join us in supporting our customer’s mission in California. The Lead Clinician oversees quality clinical services for up to 1,100 non-citizen unaccompanied children (UC) in temporary care throughout our network of providers in compliance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures of HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and related government organizations.Essential Job Duties

Oversee the provision of clinical services throughout the provider network.

Supervise assigned clinical staff.

Provide training, feedback, best practices and clinical supervision to new or existing clinicians, provider organizations and/or teams as needed or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s degree in social work, two years postgraduate direct service delivery experience or a master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience in a program, plus two years postgraduate direct service delivery experience or bachelor’s degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience in behavioral sciences.

Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide clinical services in the State of California.

Must have experience working with children and a variety of behavioral healthcare needs and treatment settings throughout the system of care in California.

Must have knowledge and experience overseeing and/or delivering culturally and linguistically appropriate services.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and experience working with the US Department of Health & Human Services, Administration for Children & Families, and the Office of Refugee Resettlement programs is highly preferred.

Experience working with migrant and displaced populations is highly preferred.

Experience with clinical issues related to complex trauma and human trafficking is highly preferred.

Experience providing formal clinical supervision and/or consultation is highly preferred.

Knowledge of and experience with state licensing and national accreditation standards is highly preferred.

Spanish English bilingual is preferred but not required.

Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions.

Travel throughout the U.S. as needed.
