Job Title: Skilled Carpenter / Construction Laborer (Journeyman Level)

Overview:
Arndt Construction Inc. is seeking a Skilled Carpenter / Construction Laborer with solid experience in both rough framing and finish carpentry. This is a hands-on role for a reliable, detail-focused professional who takes pride in teamwork, accuracy, and maintaining a safe, organized worksite. You’ll work closely with our Project Managers and Superintendents to deliver top-quality commercial and residential projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist superintendent and crew with site preparation, cleanup, material handling, and basic labor tasks
- Carry, move, and organize materials and tools safely
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Follow directions and jobsite safety rules
- Help on framing, demolition, finish work, or other carpentry tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized worksite and care for equipment
- Report to superintendent daily on progress, issues, and material needs
- Use Procore for daily job documentation, daily reports, and photo uploads
- Uphold company standards for quality, professionalism, and integrity
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Must have a valid driver’s license; clean driving record strongly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic
- Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and work outdoors in variable conditions
- Proficient with a variety of hand and power tools
- Procore experience is preferred
- Values feedback, collaboration and open communication

Competitive pay: $31–$50/hr DOE
