Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in managing incoming payments and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, collections, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in financial software.Responsibilities Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring all transactions are documented correctly. Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues with payments. Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure seamless financial operations. Utilize accounting software and financial tools such as Quicken to manage accounts effectively. Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues, providing exceptional customer service. Generate reports on accounts receivable status for management review. Assist in the reconciliation of accounts at month-end.Requirements Requirements Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, with experience in corporate accounting preferred. Familiarity with financial software and accounting software is essential. Strong math skills for accurate calculations and data analysis. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Previous experience in financial services or a similar role is a plus. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
