Description This role will primarily involve handling employee inquiries, managing HR resources, and providing clerical support to our team. This opportunity offers a short-term contract employment opportunity with the potential for conversion.Responsibilities: Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries about policies, benefits, and other HR-related topics. Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding. Manage HR resources such as the HR Resource Wall and bulletin boards. Coordinate with the Spirit Committee for meeting arrangements and the procurement of necessary supplies. Manage the creation and distribution of an HR Newsletter. Maintain and update electronic employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in planning and executing special events such as benefits enrollment and staff meetings. Handle the processing of invoices for contract staffing. Manage the distribution of employee tea and the stocking of visitor tea. Maintain key access badges for employees, visitors, and contractors. Handle attendance tracking and communicate relevant information to HR and leadership teams. Organize online harassment training for new hires and track completion rates across the company. Provide clerical support to the leadership team as needed. Manage all mail operations, including processing incoming mail and coordinating outgoing mail with courier services. Update displays in the changing room with all announcements, updates, and important information. Provide additional support to the HR team for various projects as neededRequirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software Knowledge of Benefit Functions Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Strong understanding of Compliance regulations within the Food & Food Processing industry Proven experience in Employee Relations Familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) processes and regulations Experience in the Food & Food Processing industry is desirable Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
