You should have strong oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to client service. In addition you can manage deadlines, have a willingness to learn and accept new challenges, and be a flexible, highly organized, self-starter who is able to handle multiple projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will assist in providing quality tax services for our clients.
Help with the preparation and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses and trusts.
Interpret financial documents and prepare workpapers for tax preparation.
Perform various administrative tasks as needed by the firm and/or clients.
Job location is in office.
REQUIREMENTS:
Three to five years tax preparation experience required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideal candidate will have desire to learn, be reliable, positive energy, and enjoy challenges.
Candidate must be available during week days and willing to work some weekends as needed during peak seasons.
BS in Accounting, CPA, or EA license a plus.
Lacerte tax and Quickbooks software experience preferred (knowledge of Proseries a plus).
