Hello! Companion Bakeshop is a small quality-driven bakery in Santa Cruz, CA. We have been named Best Bread by Santa Cruz County for the past decade and we take pride in making the best, organic pastries and sourdough in the area.
We are currently hiring for a part time position on our Farmers Market Team this person must be outgoing, friendly and kind, with strong customer service skills. We also need this person to be able to handle multitasking in a fast paced market (helping customers, giving change, restocking bread and pastry etc) and keeping a neat and organized, sanitary, and inviting space within the booth. Starting wage $17.50/hr, and collects tips averaging between $5-8 per hour.
Weekend availability is a requirement for this position.
All our drivers must be on our company insurance so a clean driving record and valid California license.
Priority given to those with 6 or more years of driving experience

Requirements for the positions:
Prior food service and/or customer service experience required
Willingness to work a 8-9 hour shift on your feet.
Willingness and ability to move quickly, and able to lift 50 lbs.
Work weekends
Flexibility for shift covers or swaps on other days of the week is a plus, especially during the busy Market season
Works well with a team and respects leadership roles but is also comfortable working independently.
