We are seeking a friendly and experienced Counter Cashier to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your main duties will include taking food and drink orders, assembling to go orders, interfacing with customers to hand them their orders and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Schedule 1:
Wednesday - Sunday, 7:30am-3:30pm
35 total hours per week
Schedule 2:
Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4pm,
Monday-Tuesday 7:30am-3:30pm
25 total hours per week
Schedule 3:
Thursday - Sunday 4-9:30 pm
22 total hours per week
Schedule 4:
Monday-Wednesday 4-9:30pm
16.5 total hours per week
Duties:
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Counter Cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of bussing, Toast POS, food service, food handling, basic math, hospitality, customer service, food industry, food safety, and cash handling is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
