Goemon Izakaya Karaoke Bar & Lounge is a new Japanese restaurant, full cocktail bar, boba tea shop & karaoke lounge-style entertainment venue opening soon on Clement Street in the outer Richmond District. We are now hiring for all positions!

Sushi Chef & Kitchen Chef
-At least two years experience in a Japanese Izakaya Chef position
-Experience with fish butchery
-Excellent knife skills
-Strong desire to work well with others and excel on a team
Servers:
- Servers are expected to be well versed and knowledgeable about food, beverage and service standards.
- Will be comfortable talking to guests and delivering impeccable service to all.
- Loves to work hard as a team, and willing to do what is necessary to create the best guest experience.
Bartender:
- Clean and prepare the bar areas
- Collect empty glasses and restock
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prep garnishes, infusions, and pre-batch cocktails
Busser
- (server’s helper)male or female, some restaurants experience is preferred.
Dishwasher ( redwood city downtown )
- Responsibilities: Wash, dry, polish dishes. Restock cleaned glassware in the bar and plates/bowls to the kitchen.
-Requirements: Ability to work efficiently, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive attitude. Previous experience is a plus, but we're willing to train eager learners!
