IN A NUTSHELL:
This is a full time hourly position, with great benefits, joining our WISE SONS at the JCCSF team, reporting to the General Manager. Weekends required. Schedule (at the moment) 7AM-2:30PM.
We are seeking well-rounded, experienced, hospitality professionals. Wise Sons team members have the flexibility to run the cash register, fulfill catering orders, expo and bus all in a day's work. As a front of house team member, you are responsible for serving all guests as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Teamwork is crucial to our organization and front of house team members are expected to jump in wherever necessary to get the job done.
Our ideal candidate has experience working as a cashier, is passionate about food and cooking, and believes in giving guests the best experience possible.
THE DETAILS:
Cashiers are responsible for interacting with customers, setting speed of service, and communicating needs to other team members.
Greet and direct all customers to the menu and register and engage customers while taking orders. Give friendly, gracious, and knowledgeable service to guests and maintain professionalism at all times.
Accurately and efficiently enter orders into the POS with minimal error.
Inputting all phone orders and monitoring Delivery partner transactions, accurately and efficiently.
Proficient with accepting payments on POS, including card transactions, and issuing refunds and comps.
Maintain the overall organization and cleanliness of the register area.
Support fulfillment of catering and pre-orders.
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the unit, utilizing opening/closing checklists.
Stocking the customer reach-in cooler, the back bar cooler, the bagel rack, and the paper goods needed during service.
Fulfill/Prepare drinks such as orange juice, lemonades, iced tea, drip coffee, and cold brew.

Strong organizational and time management skills
Weekend availability required
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Fluency with POS systems preferred
Food Handler’s Certificate, or ability to obtain on
