Dental Assistant/Receptionist
Duties: Seeking a Dental Assistant/Receptionist for both Practice locations.
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and update patient records
- Collect and process payments for dental services
- Must be able to verify carrier information and review with patients their benefits. - Assist with billing and insurance claims
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and dental software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and professional demeanor
Dental Assistant
Job duties include:
Setting up and disinfecting operatory rooms
Sterilizing instruments
Assisting the dentist with patients
Answering phone calls as needed
Taking X-rays if licensed
