We are a small optometry office in the Mission. We are professional, customer-centric, social and our goal is to offer the best ophthalmic healthcare in the neighborhood.
You will greet patients, make appointments, answer emails, bill insurance, collect payments, do frame selection and lens recommendations. All medical testing is done by the doctor. Bonus if you know how to bill VSP and Eyemed and/or are ABO certified (you will start at $27+/hr if ABO-certified). Additional bonus if you speak Spanish.
The team member who left was working Wednesday to Saturday. We are looking for someone who can work these similar hours, but can work around your schedule. Hours worked will be 10-6pm Tuesday to Friday, with an hour for lunch. Saturday 10-5pm, with an hour for lunch. Usually, we have one Saturday off a month unpaid.
Our goal is to have you start off as part-time and then move over to full-time if this is a good fit by Feb 2026. Part-time employees will have PTO accrued. Full-time employees will have fully paid medical benefits, paid holidays, and PTO accrual.
