Walnut Creek Estate & Trust Law Office needs technical assistance in legal document preparation and office administration staff. We also provide income tax services. Having income tax experience would be helpful but not required. Have experience with QuickBooks Desktop for Windows. The job includes: tax return data entry and assembly (will train), bookkeeping, preparing legal forms, office administration, phones, maintaining files, helping clients, appointment setting, excellence in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently. Must be organized, follow instructions and be able to solve technology problems. Income tax experience, paralegal certificate, JD, law license, CTEC tax license, IRS Enrolled Agent or Legal Document Assistant (LDA) is a plus. Great opportunity to learn valuable professional skills and gain experience. Must live in Contra Costa County with a (925) area code cell phone. You should have a clean background check and be bondable. Please include the number of hours wanted per week. We offer flexible Walnut Creek work scheduling with around 16-32 hours per week, M-F from 9-6. To work in office location, this is not a remote assignment.
