Relevant experience is REQUIRED.Job description:The Accounting Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by handling various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. This role involves handling day-to-day transactions, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring timely execution of accounting processes.Main responsibilities and tasks:Accounts Payable (AP):Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.Verify accuracy of invoices.Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies.Accounts Receivable (AR):Prepare and issue customer invoices.Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure timely collections.Follow up on overdue payments and address billing inquiries.General Ledger Management:Record journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.Compliance & Process Improvement:Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).Knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP/IFRS).Knowledge of tax regulations.
