Data Entry Associate (8am start time) Monday - Friday Part time leads to full time for the right candidate
Freight Forwarding Company doing business for 30 years in South San Francisco has an immediate opening for a Data Entry Associate.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual, who possesses above average computer skills and works well with deadlines. Must be able to communicate in an informed and intelligent manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
Enter Bills of Lading onto proprietary software system.
Communicate with agents/airlines to correct any issues with outbound freight.
Multi-task and create priorities with many large and small shipments received throughout the day.
Calculate shipping costs for orders based on size and destination of order.
Required Experience/Attributes:
1. Experience in data entry and/or order processing.
2. 10 key experience
3. Very detail oriented and organized.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
5. Able to learn quickly and become knowledgeable about procedures in a short time.
6. Good computer skills and at ease learning new software systems/processes.
7. Able to follow directions with minimal supervision.
8. College graduate degree preferred
