We’re a busy, creative family in Sebastopol looking for a reliable, hands-on house manager and personal assistant to help keep daily life running smoothly. We’re two working parents (one entrepreneur, one artist) with two kids (10 & 14), goat, a dog, two cats, and a small hobby farm with heirloom apple trees — and we could use an extra set of capable hands.
Hours:
20+ hours/week, flexible weekdays between 9am–4/5pm. Occasional extra hours possible.
What you’ll do:
No two days will be the same. You might be…
Running local errands, returns, and grocery trips
Walking and feeding the dog and cats
Handling deliveries and putting things away
Taking cars for a wash or service
Coordinating with service providers (gardener, handyman, etc.)
Helping with light daily housekeeping (dishes, vacuuming, etc.)
Basic meal prep (chopping veggies, making rice)
Occasional school pick-ups (5 mins away)
Outdoor help (weeding, mowing, picking up after the dog)
Tackling random house projects and organizing tasks
We’re looking for someone who:
Is dependable, proactive, and highly organized
Can work independently and solve problems on the fly
Likes animals, kids, and being part of a busy household
Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
It’s a varied, active role — perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of tasks, loves making things run smoothly, and wants to be part of a friendly, creative environment. The role can grow over time if you’re interested.
Pay: $35–$50/hour depending on experience.
