Family-owned and operated contractor is seeking a part-time office manager to work in our small office located near downtown San Anselmo. You will work directly with the owner and will be responsible for handling all aspects of the business, including, but not limited to the following:
-Manage project bidding
-Job costing
-A/P, A/R & monthly reconciliations
-Payroll preparation and onboarding of new employees, as needed
-Answer phones
-Schedule estimates & job inspections
-Run daily/weekly financial reports for owner and quarterly financial reports for accountant
-Heavy correspondence with subcontractors, customers & employees
-Handle all business insurance needs (Worker’s Compensation, General Liability & Auto)
-Some miscellaneous personal assistant functions as needed
-Creating customer contracts
This requires a tenacious personality & quite a lot of follow-up

Requirements-
-Basic bookkeeping knowledge
-Proficiency with Intuit Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, Dropbox & Adobe Suite
The position requires that you work alone much of the time, so we would like someone who is self-motivated and able to stay focused on the tasks at hand, while holding down the fort.
You will occasionally be required to run various errands, such as: deliver materials to job sites, meet with customers, pick-up & delivery plans, pick up job permits & other miscellaneous errands, so reliable transportation is necessary.
The office is located in a beautiful building with garden seating for enjoying your lunch, as well as a stand-up desk for ergonomically-minded individuals :) We are somewhat flexible with the number of hours/days you would be working. Ideally, we would like to have someone in the office 16-24 hours per week, spread over a 2-3 day period. We are offering an hourly rate of $25-35, depending on experience and some paid holidays, which can be discussed in the interview.
