Security Officer – Parcel Station / Concierge Services
As a Security Officer assigned to a Parcel Station with SR Global Security, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure, organized, and professional environment within a residential community. This position focuses on package intake and release, resident interaction, access control, and strict adherence to post orders, while representing both SR Global Security and the property in a professional manner at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, log, secure, and issue packages to residents in accordance with site post orders and property procedures
Verify resident identity prior to package release and ensure accurate documentation of all package transactions
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure parcel room at all times
Provide a professional, customer-service-oriented presence when interacting with residents, guests, vendors, and property staff
Monitor and control access to the parcel station and surrounding areas
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations immediately
Follow all written post orders, property rules, and SR Global Security policies without exception
Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and incident documentation as required
Coordinate with property management, supervisors, and law enforcement when necessary
Assist with basic patrols or security duties in adjacent areas as outlined in post orders
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established emergency procedures
Requirements
Valid California Guard Card (required)
High school diploma or GED
Prior experience in security, concierge, front-desk, or customer-facing roles preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Ability to remain calm, courteous, and detail-oriented in a high-traffic environment
Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and accountability
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on duty for extended periods
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the site
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if site duties require mobility)
