We are seeking an experienced and reliable Water Damage & Mold Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing water mitigation, mold remediation, and related restoration services in residential and commercial properties while following industry standards and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a professional presence with customers.

Responsibilities

Perform water damage mitigation services including extraction, structural drying, and monitoring

Set up and remove drying equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and containment systems

Conduct mold mitigation and remediation in accordance with industry standards and company procedures

Perform demolition of affected materials including drywall, insulation, flooring, and baseboards

Apply antimicrobial treatments and cleaning agents as required

Build and maintain proper containment and negative air pressure systems

Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and daily logs

Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE

Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times

Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members

Load, unload, and maintain company equipment and vehicles

Assist with emergency and after-hours calls when required

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in water damage mitigation and/or mold remediation

Knowledge of industry standards (IICRC guidelines preferred)

Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, bending, confined spaces)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong work ethic and willingness to follow company procedures

Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician)

IICRC AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

Work Schedule

Full-time position

On-call rotation for emergency services may be required

Overtime and weekend work available
