Back Porch Bakery in San Luis Obispo is looking to fill a full time dough mixer/bread baker position. We’re looking for someone who is punctual and reliable with bread baking experience, a positive attitude, friendly personality, and a strong work ethic. MUST BE A MORNING PERSON (A bread baker already knows this) Hours will fall between 3 AM and 12 PM. Must be available weekends and some holidays. Please email your resume.
You will first be trained in ingredient scaling, dough mixing, portioning and shaping. Once you are proficient in this, you will be trained to load and manage the deck oven. At that point you will have a solid understanding of the the full bread baking process. You will be joining an established team of bakers who work hard, have fun in the process, and take pride in what they produce.
