Overview:
Reimer's Candies, Gifts, and Ice Cream is a chocolate, candy, and ice cream shop. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated leader with a positive attitude to join our team. As a manager, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while managing a group of employees to be successful. Our company is growing and there are opportunities to grow in our organization as well. Responsibilities:
- Mentor, train, and motivate team members
- Ensure that daily tasks are completed. This includes opening and closing shifts
- Manage employees, schedules, sales, inventory management
- Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome
- Take customer orders and ensure accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs
Experience:
- Previous management experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred. Coffee experience is a plus!
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Cash handling experience is preferred
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
