We are looking for a Front Desk Staff member to join our team in customer service. Front Desk Staff is asked to work 2-4 shifts (total of 9-25 hours per week) at Front desk with responsibilities to include: checking-in members, referring gym prospects to the membership department, providing information about group fitness classes and gym equipment, and janitorial cleanliness throughout the facility. If you like to clean and if you enjoy working with and encouraging others, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable workout experience for our members.
Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
Clean equipment, bathrooms, toilets, floors, dust, mop, and laundry
Answer phones and direct calls appropriately
Input member info into our proprietary software
Schedule members for group classes
Sell items from our snacks and pro-shop areas
Welcome all guests upon arrival and maintain a friendly demeanor
Provide information about our gym to visitors
Respond to members’ complaints in a compassionate and professional manner
Perform all front desk duties as outlined on the checklist
Perform additional duties as requested
