We offer a 35-bed inpatient hospital day treatment and outpatient services. Our specially trained staff of board certified psychiatrists physicians and licensed professionals are committed to providing compassionate quality care and creating an atmosphere that fosters communication trust and personal growth.ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:The Sr. Evaluator will complete initial psychiatric and chemical dependency assessments. Responsible for enhancing referrals and gathering and disseminating information collected during the evaluation/admission process. Resource person to the general public and community agencies for counseling and allied services. Liaison for the purpose of facilitating courteous and professional working relations among St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center and other medical centers and agencies who serve as referral sources including utilization review and managed care companies. This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including a child adolescent/teen adult and geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.QualificationsExperience:

Background and experience in the application of Crisis Theory Methodology and experience in an inpatient or residential Psychiatric setting required.

Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a Psychiatric/Chemical Dependency setting conducting evaluations.

Background and experience in the application of Crisis Theory Methodology.

Experience in an Inpatient or Residential Psychiatric setting required

Education:

Masters required Allied Health preferred health field such as Psychology, Social Work or equivalent/relevant field.

Current Driver’s License

Current BLS through the AHA.

Preferred License:

LCSW

LMFT

Psychologist
