We are seeking an Outside Sales Associate to help generate business opportunities for facilities design and construction with public school districts. This role focuses on outreach and prospecting, primarily through in-person visits to Directors of Facilities and Maintenance & Operations within a 60-mile radius of Stockton, California.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct in-person visits to school districts to introduce potential clients about the organization's capabilities and services.
-Educate potential clients on our expertise in Facilities Master Planning, Architectural Design, Program/Project Management, and Construction Services.
-Aim to meet with two potential clients per day, targeting one new business opportunity per week.
-Summarize customer interactions and business opportunities via email at the end of each day.
-Follow up with potential clients via phone and email.
-OSA is expected to support the sales process.
The ideal candidate for this position has strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on excellent customer focus as a guiding philosophy. This person has the ability to gain trust and build relationships within the prospecting phase of the sales process. The idea candidate is organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage daily outreach efforts.
