DescriptionAmazon Devices Postponement Operations (DPO) team is seeking a Leader to drive our expanding postponement (late-stage product differentiation and configuration) operations. This person will help our team rapidly grow our business. If you’re ready to help us scale multiple programs across regions and you love to dive deeply into business case studies, this is the role for youKey job responsibilitiesAs the Business Analyst (BA), you will determine new program business feasibility and new regions for DPO, including all aspects of fixed and variable costs, and estimated net contribution for each program. You will support and help drive operations and production strategy discussions and documentation. Your role is both strategic and hands-on. It requires an individual with excellent analytical capabilities, outstanding business acumen and the ability to work with cross functional business teams. As such, you will examine and provide insights and drivers to ultimately support DPO roadmap decisions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will meet with cross-functional, operations experts to analyze and document estimated costs and benefits that feed into the strategy and vision necessary to bring-up and sustain postponement-related capabilities. You are comfortable digging into business financials and drilling into internal operational process details. You have a demonstrated track record and experience dealing with large and complex program launches, and you are passionate about the customer experience. You value driving collaboration, making data-driven decisions, and comfortably communicating with others, in both technical and non-technical fields.Basic Qualifications

3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

5+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done

History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau

Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with customer orders, manufacturing and distribution systems

Clear understanding of the Device (or similar) Design, Develop, and Launch Process

Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

Strong technical, analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decisions

Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills

Understanding of product development lifecycles

Knowledge of Bills of Materials

Able to deal with Ambiguity

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market.
