Job DescriptionPosition Profile : Account Manager Position Reports To: Manager , Business Development Position Summary The Account Manager will be a knowledgeable resource on Apache products and is responsible for managing all aspects of the relationship with your assigned Apache clients. Through intentional and effective client engagement, the Account Manager will be responsible for onboarding new accounts, securing agreement renewals, recommending and obtaining product upsells, assisting your clients with identifying solutions, and being a helpful training partner for your clients and their organizations. The Account Manager must be able to effectively communicate with members of leadership on the status of your accounts at any given time and will be expected to maintain accurate information on their assigned customers and area projects. Essential Functions

Act as a liaison between the client and departments within the company to convey information, ensure understanding, and make certain everything gets done in an accurate , timely manner

Mak e the client aware of other services and actions that may lead to greater success

Monitor the client’s budget, explaining costs, and negotiating new terms if necessary

Keep up on trends, changes, and competitor actions that might affect their client

Provid e progress reports to clients and upper management

Maintain regular and effective communication with clients through regular conversations and meetings.

Use excellent client relationship building strategies to build rapport with clients and keep them engaged

Represents Apache in industry-recognized organizations, conferences and events as an active participant and/or in a leadership role.

Prepare and execute new agreements

Create action plans when low performance indicators are recognized.

Identify clients at risk of ending service , i dentify clients that are unhappy/unsatisfied , t ake timely , proactive actions to minimize risks.

Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in operational, commercial, business development and/or finance roles within the industrial services, professional services or related industry.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Construction, Engineering, or another industry-related field preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry .

Established industry network and regular participation/leadership in industry recognized organizations .

Demonstrated s uccess in creating and articulating complex strategies and plans to both executive management and peers .

Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence others positively .

Work ing Conditions / Physical Demands

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

Frequent travel to work sites and offices (driving and/or flying).

Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

No adverse environmental conditions expected.
