We are seeking a dependable, organized, and team-oriented individual to join our dining services team as an Expo. As a key support role in the kitchen, the Expo helps ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for residents, staff, and guests. Responsibilities include managing the expo line, assisting with dishwashing duties, supporting basic prep cooking tasks, and maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 4pm–8pm

What you’ll do:
Expo Line & Meal Service Coordination – 75%
Coordinate meal orders from kitchen to dining staff with accuracy and timeliness.
Communicate with cooks and servers to ensure smooth service.
Deliver excellent customer service focused on resident satisfaction.
Restock supplies and follow safety and facility guidelines.
Kitchen & Dish Support – 25%
Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup.
Help with basic food prep like chopping and portioning.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow sanitation standards.
What you’ll need:
Experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
Ability to cook or support culinary staff.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
High school diploma preferred.
Must be available evenings and weekends.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $18.40-21.00 per hour.
