Description:
·Performs repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly or simple electromechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work
· Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
· Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence
· Assembles mechanical or electrical components using sensitive hand and equipment coordination
· Assembles all variations of in-house standard products
· Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, PVC solvent welding, and thread tapping
· Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities
·Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition
