Position Overview

We’re seeking a warm, professional, and highly organized Patient Coordinator / Medical Assistant to join our small, dynamic team. This hybrid role blends administrative coordination, patient relations, and limited clinical support. The ideal candidate excels in a cosmetic medical setting, understands the emotional and personal nature of aesthetic care, and delivers outstanding service from consultation through post-operative recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for cosmetic surgery patients, providing education and exceptional customer service.

Coordinate the entire patient journey, including consultations, surgery scheduling, and postoperative follow-up.

Present surgical quotes, review financing options, and manage deposits/payments per practice policy.

Prepare treatment rooms, record patient vitals, and assist with minor in-office procedures.

Provide preoperative and postoperative care instructions and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

Support practice marketing initiatives (photos, patient communications, social media assistance).

Handle confidential patient information with discretion and sensitivity.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years in cosmetic surgery, dermatology, or medical aesthetics preferred.

Education: Medical Assistant certification preferred; high school diploma required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with EMR systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Comfort discussing pricing, scheduling, and aesthetic procedures in a professional manner.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
