Office/Accounting Manager - Ensures delivery of excellent customer service and accurate processing of sales orders, accounting transactions, and coordination with customers and internal departments to resolve issues. Builds and maintains business relationships with customers by providing prompt and accurate service to ensure customer satisfaction and to promote loyalty. Highly organized individual that can juggle multiple priorities, process multiple transactions and project related tasks all while handling phone calls and supporting customer walk-ins and requests.
Customer Service: Handles all customer facing duties as well as general office management tasks including answering phones, assisting walk-in customers and vendors, filing, etc. Sets the standard for the Company’s Customer Relationship Reputation.
Accounting: Above average experience with QuickBooks Desktop. Processes all transactions, uses and creates reports for company-wide communication and transaction accuracy. Has a solid understanding of the different QuickBooks modules and understands how they interact. Highest level of confidentiality with sensitive company information.
Purchasing: Has experience sourcing and purchasing mechanical, electrical, and control parts. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and have general knowledge of parts application.
Inventory Control: Deep understanding of how QuickBooks processes inventory. Controls the accuracy of 2–main warehouses and 6–different mobile inventories.
Planning/Organizing: Prioritizes work and uses time efficiently completing work in a timely manner.
Communication: Effectively communicates and relates to all kinds of people. Respectful, courteous and considerate.
Professionalism: Demonstrates appropriate businesslike behavior when dealing with coworkers, vendors, and customers.
Personal Accountability: Accepts personal responsibility for the consequences of personal actions; avoids placing unnecessary blame on others.
Critical Thinking: Uses Logic and reasoning to identify strengths, weaknesses, approaches or conclusions to problems.
Knowledge of Computers and Software: Proficient in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
