Join a dynamic Colorado team of Civil Engineers in need of a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to relocate to Fort Collins, CO. This role will be multi focused in land development, municipal projects and permitting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Project Management:Lead and manage oil and gas permitting, land development, and municipal projects from initiation to completion.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, environmental specialists, and other engineers.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Permitting and Compliance:Prepare and submit oil and gas permits and related documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.Design and Development:Oversee the design of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.Prepare site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts using Civil 3D and other relevant software.Municipal Projects:Engage with local municipalities to understand project requirements and expectations.Develop engineering solutions for municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water supply, and wastewater systems.Communication and Collaboration:Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Participate in project meetings, provide technical expertise, and contribute to project decision-making.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.Maintain organized project files and documentation for future reference and audits.As the right person for this role you will: Excel at collaborating with a diverse team, coaching, and leading with a knack for adapting to different personalities and styles.Have a track record of building and nurturing strong client relationships.Be a confident communicator, both in speaking and writing.Effectively plan and deliver presentations that captivate and inform your audience.Be well-versed in navigating local, state, and federal regulations.Possess a solid understanding of business essentials like project control and fostering client relationships.Be familiar with the ins and outs of crafting compelling proposals.Have organizational skills are top-notch, and you pride yourself on your attention to detail.Thrive in a dynamic, multitasking environment, juggling multiple priorities with ease.
