Navajo Pearls Ranch (NPR) is an online Native American jewelry company. All our sales are all made online, and our working shop is located in Denver Co.
We are looking for a Jewelry maker, who is enrolled with the Navajo Nation to do piece work 4 days a week. Piecework means you are paid for each necklace or earring etc. that you make. Shift times are somewhat flexible. You will fulfill jewelry orders directly from our website. The assembly is pretty easy for the experienced stringer, but we will train you completely. There is also the oxidation process, done in a crock pot and a motorized wheel involved to grind the silver beads. We furnish you with all the supplies and materials you will need.
Its helpful to have basic jewelry making skills like stringing beads, following a simple design, using pliers, finishing
crimping with hooks and clasp etc.
During the training time you will be paid $18 hourly.
Requirements:
Must be Trustworthy and reliable
Must be enrolled with the Navajo Nation
Must have reliable transportation, even in the winter, even if its the bus or Lyft, you need to reliable and get to work.
Must live close to Denver
Be 18 yrs. or older with a valid Drivers License and verifiable home address
Hours and Compensation Once You Work from Home
You will be paid per piece fulfilled, averaging about $20 to $30 per hour, depending on your skill level, but you will learn to make jewelry quickly as all our designs are similar. We currently have 3 Native artists working in our shop in NM, and are very happy with this position and earn a lot of money.
Paid weekly, as an Independent Contractor, and receive a 10-99 tax for at the end of the year.
We currently have 2 Non-Native artists working from home that make our Southwestern Line, and are very happy with this position and have been with us for years. earn a lot of money.
