Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in FORT COLLINS, Colorado. In this role, you will be working within our accounting department to maintain, process, and analyze our accounts payable data. This position is integral to maintaining the financial health and efficiency of our operations.Responsibilities: Process and analyze accounts payable information. Undertake invoice processing and ensure accuracy in data entry. Maintain customer credit records with precision. Conduct account reconciliation tasks as required. Efficiently handle check runs and coding invoices. Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly. Receive and process customer credit applications. Participate in training sessions for our Project Management system, Build Ops. Requirements Possess a minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or related financial position. Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential for this role. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required. Familiarity with check runs and coding invoices is necessary. Should have strong data entry skills and accuracy. Proficiency in invoice processing is a prerequisite for this position. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are needed. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred. Knowledge of general ledger systems and procedures is beneficial.
