Our dairy is looking to fill a full time subcontract position. We are looking for an individual who is available 8 hrs a day 5 days a week approximately (8:30am-5:30pm). Starting hourly rate would be $16/hr. After initail training and you become able to preform the job up to standards the rate of pay will increase. The off days would be Tuesday and Thursday. We are West of Ft Collins apx. 15 miles up Rist Canyon from Verns.
This position would be responsible for morning and evening chores which involves feeding/watering and cleaning animal areas and miscellaneous jobs in-between. A successful candidate would be someone who is able to multitask, timely, detailed, hard worker, good with large animals (Cows, calves, horses and chickens) and motivated to work. This job is hard work and requires focus. Possibility to move to milking team long term if desirable. Please do not respond if you are looking for work in between jobs. We need stability & commitment. This position does not have housing in the short term - possibly long term as an option.
Must have:
Reliable transportaion
Able to work in all weather conditions
Able to lift 70 lbs at a time
Able to think and reason on your own with the guidance given.
Able to pass a drug test and have references
