General duties include setup, operation, and adjustment of CNC and manual machine tools.SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM-3:30 PM. Overtime may be required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather materials and set-up CNC or manual equipment.

Maintain quality of products produced according to department standards and visual or dimensional specifications.

Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.

Record and maintain Cell Boards and other visual management tools

Maintain equipment according to work instructions or preventive maintenance tasks.

Suggest improvements and support kaizen and VES activities.

Report complicated equipment malfunctions to mechanics.

Maintain visual management of part and raw material storage; clean and organized work area.

May be required to cross-train on other equipment or other areas as needed

Assist in problem solving of new equipment and products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

HS diploma/GED or equivalent required, no experience required.

Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.

Ability to learn instrument or circuit board assembly (Loveland only), machine operations (including set up and changeover), and/or kitting.

No previous machining knowledge required

Possess working knowledge of manufacturing processes helpful.
