Property Accountant

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry for a Property Accountant based in Loveland, Colorado, United States. This role involves overseeing accounting functions for property assets, utilizing various accounting software systems, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of account coding for property assets. Utilize accounting software systems in the execution of accounting functions. Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in accordance with established procedures. Apply knowledge of accrual accounting principles in preparing financial reports. Conduct regular auditing of property accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage cash flows and ensure efficient cash management for property assets. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for property assets. Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations. Continuously work towards improving accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
