Job DescriptionThe Product Documentation Specialist is responsible for the management of certification documents (coffee and tea) and digital files of sourced products for compliance through various trade and government agencies as well as report submission for organizations. Responding to requests for documentation for internal and external customers. Serving on the sensory team to support consumer feedback investigations, product development, evaluations, recipe design and execution.Responsibilities:· Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation for all sourced products within Allegro Quality guidelines.· Maintain internal electronic database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents. Offsite record retention with approved vendor.· Organic Compliance management for all Allegro ran facilities. Including but not limited to label submissions, NOP Organic System Plan Summaries, updates/revisions to Organic Standard Operating Procedures, assist in ensuring organic audits achieve passing status.· Aid in Fair Trade and Rain Forest Alliance Audits to achieve compliance status. Document and report non-conformances and resolutions as related to programs, audit findings.· Quarterly reporting of Fair Trade, Rain Forest Alliance and Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center Compliances.· Management of The NON-GMO Project verifications including annual renewal, individual product maintenance, and updating/revising individual products.· Kosher certification management including but not limited to unannounced tours with the Rabbi, label submissions, machinery submissions, aid in ensuring Kosher audits receive a passing status.· Review and approve incoming Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for coffee and tea.· Proofing new product labels for certifier compliance.· Creating and updating Product Spec sheets and COAs for customers.· Review consumer feedback, complaints for trend analysis, internal communications.· Support in sensory analysis for evaluation, product development, recipe design and execution.· Performs other duties as needed.Qualifications:· 3 to 5 years of related experience· Intermediate to advanced computer skills· Strong organizational skills and project management· Previous quality assurance experience a benefit· Previous sensory experience a benefit· Must have a passion for coffee and tea· Ability to travel if neededThe wage range for this position is $21.50 - $38.70 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
