The Interventional Tech II will rotate to all areas of Diagnostic Imaging and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency The Interventional Tech II performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at NSMC. The Interventional Tech II displays positive support for the values and mission of NSMC as well as the entire HealthONE organization. The Registered Nurse serves as a patient advocate and provides patient care through the implementation of ongoing systems and practices that promote and maintain quality care for patients/family utililizing the services of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.II. Position Requirements:A. Licensure/Certification/Registration:Current Registered Nurse (RN) License or a Current ARRT (R) with (VI) or (CV) certification or RCIS with CCI and CE compliant.Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC. Advanced ARRT Credentials Strongly preferred within one year. ACLS and PALS Provider Certification required for RN’s.A. Education:Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology.A. Experience:Two years experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN) or one year diagnostic experience required (ARRT). Interventional Radiology experience preferred.A. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Solid to expert knowledge of all Interventional Radiology procedures. Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care . Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills.
