The Operations Lead Analyst works as an integral part in achieving the Individual Family Plans (IFP) and Cigna Small Group (CSG) Premium/financial operations oversight and project support. Partnership and collaboration with internal and external partners on project support and execution. Vendor oversight to ensure performance improvements. Internal and external partners include Cigna Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, External Audit, IT Project managers, Business Project Managers, IFP and CSG senior leaders.Core Responsibilities:

Manages the daily premium operations activities for IFP and CSG.
Support and complete all month and quarter end accounting activities.
Support and complete internal and external Audits.
Compiles and analyzes financial results for identification of improvement opportunities with recommendations that directly impact the business bottom line.
Participates and gets involved in the evaluation of business requirements and the development of new procedures/processes/policy solutions to address complex needs in quality premium reporting and revenue capture.
Collaborates with Government and individual marketplace partners to ensure HHS government policies and procedures of processing government subsidy payments are followed, gaps identified and closed.
Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
Provides measurement and cost savings support (development, reporting, validation and improvement) with IFP and CSG vendor partner.
Negotiates change through matrix partners; serves as a procedural or workflow subject matter expert for matrix partners and management.
Identify opportunities to build cross functional relationships with other IFP and CSG teams like Accounting, Finance and IT.
Support ad-hoc requests for IFP and CSG Premium metrics or information in cooperation with our external vendors.
Supports Operations Manager in identifying, defining, and maintaining cross-functional program and project work.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Access
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Visio preferred.
Experience with relational databases and XML preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
At least 3 years of business experience
