The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in ITAM product offerings and a solid foundation in Agile/SAFe product management, coupled with a demonstrated commitment to the ITAM discipline. Must be a excellent communicator with ability to document and present to different levels of organization including technical, management, and business operations.Key Responsibilities:
Liaison Role: Act as a liaison to Product Owners/Managers across the ServiceNow Platform, understanding the technical and business implications of planned work for ITAM.
Demand Board Participation: Actively participate in the ServiceNow Platform Demand Board, providing specific product expertise and broader technical insights.
Governance Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for the team with ServiceNow Platform Governance bodies.
Roadmap Planning: Represent the technical perspective in ITAM roadmap planning, understanding the implications of value streams, ITAM strategy, and overall roadmap.
Prioritization Representation: Communicate the Product Manager’s and Business Owner’s roadmap priorities to the Agile team.
Deliverable Translation: Translate roadmap priorities into technical, process, and Organizational Change Management (OCM) deliverables.
Epic Creation: Develop Epics based on the roadmap.
PI Planning Coordination: Coordinate topics for Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitate the planning sessions, representing team plans and accomplishments to stakeholders.
Sprint Planning Participation: Actively engage in sprint planning sessions.
Feature Assessment: Assess and accept the delivery of features.
Progress Reporting: Represent team progress in weekly status meetings, providing insights to the Product Manager or coaching them as needed.
Upgrade Review Management: Ensure process owners, architects, and other stakeholders review upgrade release notes and gather recommendations for roadmap discussions.
Work Management: Informally manage team workload and dynamics without direct personnel management responsibilities.
Agile Coaching: Coach the team in Agile roles, providing direction and oversight as necessary, including:
Monitoring Scrum Master compliance with detailed processes for solution migration.
Overseeing Business Analyst feature creation.
Protecting team capacity from over commitment by management.
Consulting Resource Oversight: Oversee consulting resources performing Agile functions, including Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Technical Writers, and Technical Analysts. Note that FTE architects will provide leadership for the technical team, while process owners will oversee process consultants and OCM consultants.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on ServiceNow.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, testing management, and platform engineering.
Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and other ServiceNow capabilities ( HAM Pro, SAM Pro, Discovery).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Agile Framework, Scaled Agile, but comfortable operating in a context that is not purely Agile
Ability to manage upward and deliver negative news to authority
Strong commitment to the Agile process or replanning as business needs require (on sprint boundaries)
Self-managed, self-directed, self-motivated
Servant leader to the team and strategic thinker

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
