Description We are seeking a Controller for a long-term REMOTE contract position. The role involves overseeing multiple accounting functions in a global context. The successful candidate will play a key role in the consolidation of financial information from entities and will oversee functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.Responsibilities: Oversee the monthly close processes and financial consolidation of three international entities. Manage the accounting functions including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end closes. Oversee the calculation of 401K contributions and ensure compliance with related regulations. Monitor and manage the use of various accounting software systems including Sage 300 and ADP. Drive the preparation of monthly reporting packages and annual audits. Collaborate with external auditors. Oversee payroll functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Monitor and maintain customer credit records accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations and reporting requirements. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.Requirements Candidate must possess at least 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar Experience with manufacturing industry a plus Experience with ADP a plus Demonstrated expertise in Accounting Functions Proficient handling of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Prior experience in Auditing is necessary Familiarity with Budget Processes is expected Knowledge of Sage 300 software is advantageous Experience in Monthly Close Processes is required Ability to handle Financial Consolidation is a mustRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
