Schochet is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be upbeat and outgoing, assist in the day-to-day operations, and provide administrative support and excellent customer service.

Country Glen Apartments is a 324-unit market rate apartment community located in Groton, CT. The Administrative Assistant will provide office support to the Property Manager and other staff throughout the property.

Duties and Skills:

Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call appropriately, whether it is a client call, current resident, service request, etc.

Process work orders. Keep appropriate staff informed regarding customer issues and concerns.

Provide administrative support in the areas of scheduling, typing, filing, supply ordering and mail coordination. Create and distribute resident notices and letters at request of maintenance and management staff.

Lease apartments: greet prospective residents, pre-qualify, identify needs and preferences, and professionally present community and specific apartments.

Complete all lease applications/renewals and related paperwork for verification.

Responsible for coordinating, marketing, and attending resident events.

Additional duties will be assigned.

Prior administrative office experience required, strong attention to detail, proficient in Microsoft Office, and excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. The schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday-8:30am-5:00pm, Thursday 8:30am- 6:00pm and Saturday 8:30am-4:00pm.
