Our approach for addressing this complexity is simple: we combine Deloitte's next-generation technology platforms with decades of experience in the consumer sector and a deep understanding of its unique issues and challenges to drive profitability and future growth for our clients.Work you'll doThe Product Manager will be a leader in bringing the vision of our ConvergeCONSUMER products to reality, playing a critical role in designing, building, and delivering our products. The right candidate will help us work to define our product vision, strategy and goals, and work with product design team members on user stories and features, work with product marketing team members on launch and customer adoption, and work with product engineering team members on user experience, architecture, and development. You should have the ability and experience in collaborating and aligning with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating customer needs into technical product requirements, and working with engineers to build and deliver world-class products that achieve product / market fit.Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute the strategy for the Assortment Optimization product

Collaborate with other Product Managers and engineering team members on product development activities and assist in tasks necessary to make a developed product market-ready

Work with designers and developers to ensure product features are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with the product vision

Engage with various stakeholders to scope high-level features or user stories to a level of detail needed for engineering team members to execute against (including requirements, mockups, prototypes, etc.).

Play a key hands-on role in an agile software development lifecycle by writing user stories, grooming backlogs, and running sprint reviews/sprint showcases

Develop product collateral such as presentations, sales tools, marketing materials, and product demonstrations

Monitor, analyze, and report on customer/decision-maker/end-user feedback and manage the success and evolution of products in the marketplace

Provide timely reporting of development activities, product launches/extensions, and ongoing sales, revenue, and profitability performance against defined business targets

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement materials

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent field; Advanced Degree is a plus - equivalent work experience may act as a substitute for degree requirements

5+ years of proven success in a fast-paced, retail or consumer products-related product management or management consulting role

Experience building data science and analytics solutions, particularly in the merchandising space

Familiarity with optimization techniques

Experience working closely with an engineering organization to manage products through the entire product lifecycle

Strong technical background combined with solid business experience

Solid retail or consumer products analytics experience and domain knowledge

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly self-motivated, energetic, passionate, team-oriented personality and working style

Proven ability to successfully partner with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally

Willingness to travel (25%) periodically

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

Experience working in merchandising domain and/or with merchants

Familiarity with the latest technology landscape, including AI/ML and Optimization

Familiarity with User Experience design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams

Well-developed judgment and problem-solving skills

Experience in agile software development methodology and use of agile software development productivity tools (i.e., JIRA, Confluence)

Experience with market and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and inform decision-making

Ability to juggle many competing priorities/deadlines
