Freelance Media Support Coordinator

This is a part-time role. It is a project-based, limited-term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. This position is responsible for the support of our various Production units within NBC Sports. The role serves as a first line of support for Production that runs 24/7.Responsibilities: Familiarity with Content Metadata and/or Enhanced Descriptive Metadata entry & editingSupporting our on-air Production teams with external media tape loads & equipment loansAssist with onboarding of new clients for content acquisition (Mediashuttle, Latakoo)Digitization of physical assets into the NBC Sports MAMManaging the daily ingest of recorded events (pressers, shows, sporting events) and cataloguing appropriatelyMonitoring & managing the storage levels of multiple workgroups and workspacesProviding daily support to Production in prioritizing asset restore requests in a timely periodAssisting Production in both the distribution and retrieval of content using various digital deliveries (MediaShuttle, DropBox, etc.)
