Description We are in search of a meticulous Office Administrator to join our team in the automotive industry, located in STAMFORD, Connecticut. As an Office Administrator, you will be the backbone of our office operations, providing administrative support across various departments, managing databases, and ensuring the smooth running of our office. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the performance of general office duties such as filing and maintaining office supplies Provide administrative support to various departments to ensure seamless office operations Accurately enter data and manage databases, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Excel Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Support the finance department with tasks such as invoicing and tracking expenses Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, extensively in daily operations Ensure all clerical duties are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner Manage customer service tasks, addressing and resolving inquiries as necessary. Requirements Candidate must have prior experience in an Administrative Assistance role. Proficiency in Data Entry is required. Ability to Organize Files in an efficient and accessible manner is essential. Experience or familiarity with Scanning documents and managing digital file systems is necessary. Knowledge of the automotive industry would be advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Proficiency in using office software including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. High school diploma or equivalent is required; further industry-related education or training is advantageous. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be capable of working independently as well as in a team setting.
