Construction Inspector

AECOM is seeking a Construction Inspector to provide onsite construction management services for the Construct In-Transit Munitions Facility in Dover, Delaware. The role involves performing full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Construction Inspection Services, which includes continuous surveillance throughout the construction process. This role will be responsible for reviewing and developing draft responses to all construction submittals for Government use, including shop drawings, product data, testing data, and construction schedules. Job Summary Details:Reviewing and preparing draft Government responses to the Construction Contractor’s submitted Requests for Information (RFIs)Ensuring the accuracy of the information based on current site conditions.Performs routine duties.Knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors,
