Top Secret/SCI | 100,000-130,000 per year | Washington, DC, USA | Salary | Full Time SGI Global is seeking a Deputy Site Lead with Technical writing skills to support the Department of Homeland Security, Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD) Watch Operations. The CWMD watch coordinates, shares, and performs analysis on relevant operational information related to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, (CBRN) and medical events or incidents worldwide. Must possess a TS/SCI clearance Responsibilities:

The Deputy Site Lead is ultimately responsible for supporting the entire Watch team, and reporting to the Site Lead. It it the Site Lead and Deputy Site Lead's responsibility to to ensure all deliverables under this program are met on time and that meet or exceed the customer's satisfaction.

The Deputy Site Lead has two primary responsibilities: program management and writing/editing support.

Duties:

The Deputy Site Lead shall develop and mentor Watch Officers in the skillcraft of executive writing and tradecraft analysis of operational across all CWMD watch desk products in accordance with the congressional plain language mandate.

The Deputy Site Lead shall review all products for prior to dissemination to leadership.

The Deputy Site Lead shall be available to perform shift work to relieve watch personnel due to scheduled and unscheduled absences, or sickness to ensure the CWMD Watch Desk is always covered.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 12 years experience in a management or technical writer/editor position, OR;

Master's degree + 8 years of experience in a management or technical writer/editor position;

Must possess a TS/SCI clearance
